RICHARD EASTWOOD
VBCS General Manager

Qualifications: Member of Strata Community Australia (VIC)

Profile: Richard has worked with VBCS for over ten years, joining the company with extensive experience from a range of diverse roles within the banking industry spanning 22 years. Richard’s career commenced with the Bank of New South Wales in a clerical role and culminated as a Project Manager responsible for centralising operations within the retail branch network across the east coast of Australia.

Richard joined VBCS as a Portfolio Manager and was quickly identified as a leading and integral team member of the company. Richard has held numerous senior management roles within VBCS before being promoted to General Manager of Strata Operations.

Richard’s vision for VBCS is to ensure service delivery standards are met within the company’s front line operations and drive improvements in team performance.

MARTIN MELTZER
General Manager – Business Support Services

Qualifications: Bachelor Business (Accounting) / Bachelor of Computing (Information Systems)

Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants

Member of Strata Community Australia (Vic)

Profile: Martin has been a member of the VBCS team for over ten years and has over fifteen years experience working in the strata industry.

Martin joined VBCS with extensive experience from a chartered accounting role in IT Risk Management with Ernst & Young. Martin was responsible for IT Risk management and IT audits of large companies.

Throughout Martin’s time at VBCS he has assisted in many facets of the business including management of a diverse portfolio of properties. Martin has been an integral role in senior management at VBCS whose responsibilities included development and implementation of customized IT Systems, management of staff, IT Training, administration Payroll and Human Resources.

GREG CATES
Business Development Manager

Qualifications: Diploma Financial Planning 1, 2 & 4

Certificate Superannuation Management

Members of Urban Development Institute of Australia (Vic)

Profile: Following 15 years in the Financial Services industry in various management roles Greg developed an interest in owners corporation management at the introduction of the Owners Corporation Act 2006 which resulted in joining a small boutique organisation as an Owners Corporation Manager. Greg joined VBCS managing a portfolio of large and complex properties where he devoted his time to customer satisfaction and client care.

It was this dedication, plus Greg’s previous experience in similar roles with large Corporate Superannuation Funds that saw Greg promoted to his current role as Business Development Manager at VBCS. Greg uses his extensive experience, knowledge and skills to work with new clients to ensure they receive a tailored service for their Owners Corporations.

In addition, Greg works with developers on all types of property developments, both in size and complexity. Greg works with developers on projects from conception through to completion and is successful in providing recommendations that save developers money and increase profitability.
